Krystal Dawn Thomas, 20, with the United States Air Force, Minot, ND, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, from injuries received in a fall.
She was born April 10, 1982, at Camp Lejeune, NC, the daughter of David W. and Sheila K. Looney Thomas of Spencer. She was a 2000 graduate of Roane County High School.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, David W. Thomas, II and his wife, Missy of Morgantown, WV and Matthew Thomas of Spencer; maternal grandmother, Martha Looney of Spencer; paternal grandfather, Clarence Thomas of Akron, OH. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Claude Looney and paternal grandmother, Jane Thomas.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 3, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the Ward Cemetery, Spencer.
